Part 3 – Empower yourself

Now that you are seeing situations as opportunities it is important to address how you are talking to yourself during them.

Next time you talk about something you are trying to accomplish, listen to your words and recognise whether your intent resonates an empowering positive belief or a self-limiting negative belief.

Here’s some examples:

  • Don’t get injured vs. Be stable
  • Don’t be weak vs. Be strong
  • Don’t get fat vs. Be healthy
  • Don’t miss vs. Be accurate
  • Don’t fall vs. Stay in balance
  • Don’t lose it vs. Stay in control

One set of words empowers, the other weakens. Which are you telling yourself?
